Vegetable-tanned leather is leather in its most honest form, tanned slowly using natural tannins from bark, leaves, and roots. No harsh chemicals. No shortcuts. Just time, patience, and a deep respect for the craft.

Is vegetable-tanned leather real leather?
Yes, it’s genuine, high-quality leather in its most natural form.
Vegetable-tanned leather is made from full-grain hides using natural tannins from plants, bark, and roots. Unlike chrome-tanned leather, it skips the heavy chemicals and keeps the integrity of the hide intact, raw, breathable, and alive.
We use only REACH-compliant leather, meaning it's free from harmful substances and safe for both skin and planet. When evaluating leather, what matters most is transparency, the source, the process, and the traceability.
